The short version: when a visitor clicks a hotel booking link and completes a reservation through a Stay22-supported partner, Olive Oil Trails may earn an affiliate commission at no extra cost to the traveler.
What is monetized
Only the stay layer is monetized. Olive producers, tasting rooms, and route coverage are not paid placements.
What does not change
The editorial standard does not change because a stay is monetizable. Properties are included because they fit the route, not because they have a commercial arrangement with the site.
Why links use booking partners
Stay22 can only attribute supported travel partners. That is why hotel CTAs are routed toward supported booking flows rather than directly into hotel-owned booking engines.
